The "European cultural network EU20" project (ECN EU20) is aimed at providing all EU20 members (private artists and associations operating in the fields of Music, Cinema, Television, Multimedia, Fashion, Photography, Architecture and Design, Visual Arts, Entertainment, Libraries, Museums, Artistic Crafts, Publishing, etc.) a communicative action of their cultural offer in terms of new digital content at international and national level. More specifically, EU20 intends to create and implement, in terms of digital and technological fruition, a permanent multilingual and multi-scope information channel for the export of cultural heritage and the products of contemporary creativity of its members. In this regard, the permanent multimedia information channel called "European cultural network EU20" (acronym ECN EU20), intends to use new technologies to make the cultural content and cultural heritage of its territory accessible to a wide target audience on an international scale, with particular reference to the existing EU20 NETWORK
WHAT "EUROPEAN CULTURAL NETWORK EU20" WILL BE ABOUT?
The permanent multimedia information channel "European cultural network EU20" will take care of
• the creation of new multi-sector cultural and creative products of its associated artists and cultural associations (Music, Cinema, Television, Multimedia, Fashion, Photography, Architecture and Design, Visual Arts, Entertainment, Libraries, Museums, Artistic Crafts, Publishing), for live and online dissemination capable of interacting multiple expressive languages and adopting innovative narratives;
• the circulation and dissemination of the cultural products of the members to new audiences, in the international field through the channel of the existing EU20 NETWORK and in the national field especially towards the populations residing in a difficult
and isolated territorial area (high ground and hill towns, villages in Calabria);
• the realization of activities for the use of the cultural heritage of the members through innovative methods and tools of offer and in particular the creation of the digital platform EU20 Network with innovative cultural content and new narrative, communication and promotion formats (eg podcasts, cultural news, European culture promo, etc.), with particular reference to the promotion of cultural products aimed at the categories of vulnerable and disabled groups (elderly, young, deaf and blind);
• the digitization of the cultural heritage of the Associates and the creation of the "EU20 Network" archive to allow its dissemination and sharing through co-production, cross-border cooperation and international circulation with the adhesion and participation in European projects of the subjects belonging to the European Culture Network EU20 in the European Union;
• finally, the European cultural network EU20 provides a particular section dedicated to crowdsourcing and the development of an open source platform called "ECN EU20 YOU" for the creation and sharing of community-based projects, with particular reference to the works created by people belonging to the categories of the weak and disabled (elderly, young, deaf and blind).
